About Us

The BHWC Fundraising Team was officially formed on 1st May 2025, following the disbandment of the long-standing BHWC Supporters Club. This transition marks an exciting new chapter in our mission to support the Bicester and Whaddon Chase (BHWC) in a modern, focused, and sustainable way.

A Proud History

Our fundraising roots run deep. In 1954, The Whaddon Chasers Supporters Club became the first hunt supporters club to be established. It was followed by the Bicester & Warden Hill Hunt Supporters Club in 1963, and after the amalgamation of both hunts in 1986, the Bicester and Whaddon Chasers Supporters Club was born.

The Supporters Club raised substantial funds annually, helping the Hunt by donating cash or purchasing horses and vehicles. It also brought the community together through events such as skittles matches, dances, inter-hunt quizzes, hunt breakfasts, summer garden evenings, and the much-loved Carol Service at Stratton Audley.

Moving Forward

Today, the BHWC Fundraising Team continues that legacy with a renewed focus. Led by:

  • Chairman: Ben Stockley-Eltham

  • Secretary: Kayleigh Hawkins

We are dedicated to raising vital funds to support the BHWC, hounds, and horses, ensuring they receive the care, attention, and environment they deserve.

Our fundraising efforts directly support the BHWC staff at the kennels, helping them provide food, shelter, healthcare, and day-to-day care for the incredible animals that are at the heart of what we do. It's all about keeping our hounds and horses healthy, happy, and in peak condition to do what they love.

Get Involved

We warmly welcome BHWC members who would like to support the Committee with ideas, events, or time. If you're interested in helping, please contact our Secretary, Kayleigh Hawkins.  We’d love to hear from you.

Together, we're not just fundraising - we're safeguarding the future of BHWC and everything it represents.
